Multi-lingual executive with over 20 years of experience in delivering projects of outstanding quality both in the corporate and public sector. Combining business acumen with a deep understanding of Sustainable Development Goals and Strategic Philanthropy, she has led organisations in developing and implementing programs at global scale around key issues affecting people and planet, establishing governance mechanisms to manage risk and ensure increasing compliance. In recent years as an independent consultant, she has accompanied her clients on their journey toward excellence, helping them to achieve measurable impact while meeting their philanthropic aspirations. As a Senior Manager at IUCN she is now responsible to engage the private sector in support of the Organisation’s effort to fulfil its vision of “a world that values and conserves nature” through different partnership mechanisms such as sponsorship, cause-related marketing, licensing and corporate donations.

Paola holds a master’s degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. On a more personal note – Paola is a busy mum of two, who enjoys sailing and travelling with her family and loves pairing wine with the food she prepares.
